I read and write slash fanfiction. Since I’d rather be safe than sorry, I have decided to friends-lock ~~all~~ nearly all NC-17 stories. If you are at least 18 years old, please do feel free to friend me, comment here, whatever, and I’ll friend you back. (No need to reveal your age - it's not like I can check IDs at the door - just be honest and be at least 18.)

This page will also lead you to direct links for all my stories. If you want to see if you like the way I write before cluttering up your friends list, the first three chapters of Deus Lo Vult (starting here), plus the first two chapters of Princes of Troy (starting there) are public. None of the Orlijah stuff is f-locked because I started to re-think f-locking at one point.

Meanwhile, I've turned to Supernatural and J2, but I haven't written anything worth posting yet. I keep meaning to, but there is SO much incredible J2 and Sam/Dean fic out there that I don't need to write it. What usually drives me to writing is when I run out of high-quality fiction to read.

I tried to be organized in this archive. Just keep scrolling down. It's all sort of in the order in which I started writing in various fandoms. I have a terrible problem with starting WIPs and then they go on forever.

Princes of Troy (Hector/Paris) - Troy/Iliad wherein the long-lost Paris returns to Troy and seduces Hector

Deus Lo Vult (Eirik/Balian) - Kingdom of Heaven AU wherein Balian is seduced by a wayward Templar

The Viking Saga (Erik/Orlando) - Just plain nuts, and based on the Banaviking community's notion that Eric Bana would make a great Viking

Midsummer Madness (Eric/Orlando in various roles and guises) - Which I write when overwhelmed by the angstiness of PoT and DLV and I need some silliness

Braced for Disaster (Oops, Orlijah RPS *snicker*) - During filming of LOTR, Orlando tries to turn Elijah gay

Autodidact (Challenge Orlijah RPS) - Big words are thrown about willy-nilly

The Doctor and the Pirate (Orlando/Elijah) - I can't get enough of historical AUs. This is the start of one for Elijah and Orlando - inspired by pictures of Orlando as a pirate OMG *thud*

The Prince and the Pea (Banalijah) - A cracked fairy tale with a major size kink

The Dairy Farmer and the Lorry Driver (UrBana) - More silliness, in a fandom never to be written in again by moi

PRINCES OF TROY

My Hector/Paris stories are all connected, starting with Favorite Son.

Ratings for each chapter are shown, but trust me - even the PG-13 chapters
are full of longing and angst and yearning and excess commas and that sort of thing.

The time period is years before the Trojan War, when Paris first meets Hector.

Except for the first two chapters (and whatever may be not NC-17), all the stories are f-locked. If you want to read them, please friend me and I'll add you back.

IV. Come to Me - Paris is kind to servants and children and kittens. (R)
V. Silence - Hector remains in big-time denial. Paris doesn't get it. (NC-17)
VI. Fortune and Glory - Enemies come to the gate. Paris wants to join the fight. (NC-17)
VII. Disobedience - Pouty Paris v. Hector Hairshirt (PG-13)
VIII. Lions and Lambs - Strip poker circa 1200 BCE (NC-17)
IX. Mount Ida - The princes of Troy visit Mount Ida, where Paris grew up. (PG-13)

XI. The Rescue - The Trojans rescue one of their own. (PG-13)
XII. The Penalty - Paris gets spanked. That’s right: spanked. (NC-17)

DEUS LO VULT

DEUS_LO_VOLT

Kingdom of Heaven BanaBloom AU. I know what you're thinking, "Wait! Eric Bana wasn't in Kingdom of Heaven !" To which I reply, "No movie is perfect."

When I first heard of Kingdom of Heaven , it was before I had written one iota of fanfic. At the time I was addicted to Hector/Paris. In fact I'm in a state of permanently arrested development, as I have not moved beyond (nor do I desire to at this moment) BanaBloom. [Edit: See Orlijah stuff below. So sue me :S] So I made up a wandering Templar named Sir Eirik to become Balian's honey. But then for some reason I wrote my first Hector/Paris story, and set aside KoH thoughts until seeing the movie. Yet for months I mercilessly pimped my supposed Eirik/Balian stories - although they didn't exist - which was improper and unladylike. I had a reason - I felt I needed some backstory before beginning - but still... unladylike. I beg that you will have mercy on my soul.

Deus Lo Vult is the inscription on the hilt of Balian's sword. This is what Pope Urban II said to start off the first crusade in 1095. In 1099 the crusaders conquered Jerusalem. That date is also on the sword hilt.

So if you like BanaBloom, just picture Eric Bana as Sir Eirik of Lewis, lost somewhere in the Holy Land, little knowing that across the next sand dune is... a really hot-looking blacksmith-turned-baron named Balian.

Part I - A wandering Templar finds a handsome blacksmith in the middle of the desert. (PG-13)
Part II - Eirik heals. Balian watches. Eirik has secrets. (PG-13)
Part III - Eirik picks a fight. (R)
Part IV - Chess. Sex. (NC-17)

THE VIKING SAGA (ABRIDGED)

And then there is the madness brought on by reading stories in

banaviking, which infected my mind and caused it to produce a new series:

Book the First - After a hard day of pillaging, Erik comes home and wants dinner and Orlando, not necessarily in that order. (NC-17)

Book the Second - Orlando joins Erik on a raid and winds up in a cave. (R)

Book the Third - Partay! And a guest cameo by Sir Jethro de Bodine. (R)

My newest interest, which smacked me over the head very suddenly (January 2006 or thereabouts), is a pairing of Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood.

The Dairy Farmer and the Lorry Driver - Karl is a dairy farmer in New Zealand. The character is based on the dairy farmer in the movie “The Price of Milk.” He loooooooves his cows. Eric is just… Eric, a lorry driver. (NC-17)

Hi, glad you have enjoyed so far! I decided to friends-lock. That means you need to have an LJ (which is available free, and can be as anonymous as you wish), then you add me as a friend. Please I would like for you to befreind me. I really enjoyed your stories very much, especially bailan and Erik, that I just can't wait for you to write another chapter. It's funny I really don't have a lot of time right now beacause of finals in college but eventhough I'm studying I always make time for your stories. I am 26 if you wanted to know if I was legal to read the NC-17 stories, just in case. So I hope you can allow me to read chapter 6 of Bailan and Erik, can't wait to see what happens. I love the way you describe you bailan, it's so much better than the movie. Love Gaby.

Delus lo vult means "God wills it" and was the comment Pope Urban made to start off the crusades. He wanted Christians to "take back" the Holy Land.

Hello. I just recently found your story 'Deus Lo Vult' and I really enjoyed it and would like to continue to read it. However, I don't like adding 'friends' that I only friend because of their stories. It makes it easier for me to read my flist when I don't have much time on my hands. Would it be at all possible for you to friend me, without me having to friend you first? If not I understand.

First, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying DLV. Thanks for dropping by and letting me know!

When I did the f-lock thing, I made a decision that I would have only mutual friends. I feel if someone wants to read my stories, then that person ought to be willing to friend me.

I hear your concern about an overloaded "friends" page, but it's possible to set up a custom view that shows ONLY posts from the friends you choose in a custom group. Except for stories, I rarely make any posts at all. I know there are people who do every poll out there, or "what color are you?" etc. Or maybe what they had for breakfast, or how they've developed a big crush on so-and-so. I'm rarely interested in that. So I customized my "friends" page, and it works nicely. It's also possible to make posts that you allow only a select group of friends to see.

That said, obviously it's entirely up to you, yet I'd love to have you around. Any friend of Slashy's is a friend of mine. :)
